For over 20 years, 1,000 fast and furious Certified Racing Ducks plunged into the Snoqualmie River and raced to the finish line for one of Fall City’s most beloved school fundraisers.

Then… the racing ducks retired.

Today… residents and artists turn these special rubber duckies into a collectable work of art.

Starting in 2023, 100 of the original ducks are hidden each year, just in time for the Fall City Day Festival.

They are lovingly placed all over Fall City and are meant to encourage residents to explore the town and trails, to discover our community, and appreciate the special area we are lucky enough to call home.

In the spirit of the Ducky Derby, one Lucky Duck receives a $100 cash prize for the person that finds it.

If you are lucky enough to find one, bring it into the Lucky Duck Thrift Shoppe to see if you’re a Lucky Duck winner.

Be sure to place a special Rubber Ducky pin into the Ducky Map so we can see where they’ve been found.
